FOOTBALL NOTES
Each team can have up to 11 players on the field during a football game.
The person who throws the ball is called the QUARTERBACK.
The player who catches the ball is called the RECEIVER.
The team who has the ball is called the OFFENSE.
The team who is trying to keep the offense from scoring is called the DEFENSE.
A TOUCHDOWN is scored when a team carries the ball into the other team's endzone.
A touchdown is worth 6 POINTS.
